TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Bookings and Payments
To secure a booking, a 50% deposit is required upon confirmation, which reserves the specified date and time. The remaining balance must be paid at least one day before the event date. Payments confirm and reserve our services specifically for your event.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • 14+ Days Prior: You may reschedule to an available date at no additional charge or cancel for a $100 cancellation fee.
  • Between 14 and 3 Days Prior: Rescheduling or cancellation incurs a $100 fee.
  • Less than 3 Days Prior: Cancellations made within 3 days of the event will result in forfeiting the 50% deposit.

3. Equipment Care & Responsibility
The client is responsible for any damage to our equipment caused by guests. Repair or replacement costs due to damages will be charged to the client.

4. Sound and Lighting Equipment Use
The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue meets the technical requirements for our sound and lighting equipment. Any damage caused by the venue’s electrical system or unsuitable space arrangements may result in additional charges.

5. Event Conduct and Safety
The client is responsible for maintaining a safe environment for guests and equipment. Should any guest behavior pose a risk to our equipment or staff, we reserve the right to pause or end the service without a refund.

6. Weather and Outdoor Events
For outdoor events, the client is responsible for providing adequate protection against weather conditions for our equipment. In cases of severe weather, we may adjust or pause the service to protect equipment and ensure safety.

7. Music Selection and Playlists
While we welcome input on music selection, the final playlist will be prepared based on the agreed event requirements. Requests for significant changes must be submitted at least 7 days prior to the event.

8. Licensing and Permits
For public events requiring special permits or music licenses, the client is responsible for securing these prior to the event date.

9. Event Duration and Extra Hours
The agreed event duration is based on the start and end times specified in the booking. Any delays by the client or guests may result in shortened performance time or additional fees for extended hours, which may be higher than the standard rate.

10. Setup and Takedown
Setup and takedown times are part of the agreed booking hours. Extra time required beyond the booking period for setup or takedown may incur additional charges.

11. Travel Fees
Additional travel fees may apply for events outside of our standard service area. These fees will be confirmed during the booking process.

12. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for ensuring adequate power supply, necessary venue permissions, and a secure setup area. Any restrictions or requirements should be communicated to us in advance to avoid disruptions.

13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or cancellations due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, or emergencies. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule if possible.

14. Photography and Video Rights
We may capture photos or videos of the event for promotional purposes unless the client explicitly requests otherwise in writing before the event date.

15. Liability Insurance
Our services are covered by liability insurance, which applies throughout Australia to ensure protection during all events.

16. Website Usage
All website content, including images, text, and design, is owned by [Your DJ Business Name] or licensed to us. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our content is prohibited.

17. Privacy Policy

18. Service Limitations
While we strive to provide consistent service, we cannot guarantee that equipment or personnel will be available at all times due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we reserve the right to substitute equipment or personnel to fulfill the booking.
